• Jillian Law believes that a strong and vibrant local community is a healthy community and is passionate about the Huon Valley, where she lives with her husband Ken.

• With involvement in many local organisations including the Lions Club, the Huon Resource Development Group and the Franklin Township Committee, Jillian has recently conducted her own campaign to put pressure on the Labor government to improve the local roads. Her work has recently resulted in a number of upgrades that will improve road safety for families who travel along these roads.

• Jillian has been very disappointed at the lack of vision and leadership from the Labor government and firmly believes that they have let Tasmanians down by concentrating more on their own internal political activity than preparing for the challenges ahead.

• She believes that the old Labor style of dividing communities is a mistake and as a member of the Tasmanian Liberals, she will be working with Will Hodgman to present a new agenda to the people of Tasmania.
